Dr Arup Halder passed MBBS from Bankura Sammilani Medical College and done DCH from Chittaranjan Sishu Sadan. He passed his MD in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Medicine from Calcutta National Medical College and stood first. He has done his training in Sleep Medicine from International Institute of Sleep Sciences,  Mumbai. He has done Fellowship in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Medversity and University of New South Wales, Australia.  Now he is a consultant Pulmonologist attached to Woodlands Hospital. He is associated with Institute of Sleep Sciences in Kolkata. He performed as a speaker both Nationally and Internationally. He has several national and international publications in indexed journals. He is a member of European Respiratory Society and World Sleep Association.
